Jeon Mi-do made her acting debut in the musical Mr. Mouse in 2006. She transitioned to television with a minor role in the series Mother in 2018, and the following year, she appeared in her first feature film, Metamorphosis. Jeon gained prominence for her lead role in the medical drama Hospital Playlist, where director Shin Won-ho believed she was destined to portray the character Song-hwa. Her performance in this series earned her a nomination for Best New Actress at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards. She also appears in the film Connection, released in 2024.
