Jenny Slate is an American actress and comedian who gained prominence for her leading role in the film Obvious Child (2014). She co-created and produced the children's short film and book series Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, which has been ongoing since 2010. Slate's voice work includes notable performances in animated features such as Zootopia (2016) and The Secret Life of Pets 2 (2019).
