Jennifer Jason Leigh is an American actress who made her film breakthrough in the teen movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). She gained critical acclaim for her performances in Last Exit to Brooklyn (1989), Miami Blues (1990), and The Hateful Eight (2015), the latter earning her nominations for a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Leigh has appeared in films such as The Machinist (2004), Annihilation (2018), and Margot at the Wedding (2007). Additionally, she co-wrote and co-directed The Anniversary Party (2001) with Alan Cumming. Her work in the Netflix series Atypical (2017-2021) is also notable.
