Jennifer Connelly is an American actress who made her film debut in the crime drama Once Upon a Time in America (1984). She gained recognition for her role in the science fiction film Dark City (1998) and portrayed a drug addict in Darren Aronofsky's Requiem for a Dream (2000). Connelly has appeared in a diverse range of films, including the horror movie Phenomena (1985), the musical fantasy Labyrinth (1986), and the romantic comedy Career Opportunities (1991). Her notable performances extend to A Beautiful Mind (2001), Blood Diamond (2006), and Top Gun: Maverick (2022).
