Jennifer Carpenter is an American actress who played the titular character in The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005). She portrayed Debra Morgan in the crime drama series Dexter (2006–2013) and reprised this role in the miniseries Dexter: New Blood (2021–2022). Carpenter's filmography includes performances in Quarantine (2008) and the animated Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms (2021). Her television credits include roles such as Rebecca Harris in Limitless (2015–2016) and Erica Shephard in The Enemy Within (2019). Carpenter has received an MTV Movie Award and a Saturn Award.
