Jemma Carlton is an English actress who made her screen debut as Maxine Carr in the 2022 Channel 5 series Maxine. She graduated from Rose Bruford College in 2019 with a BA in Acting and was the runner-up for the Alan Bates Award that same year. Carlton's stage credits include her role as Hester in The Silver Cord at The Finborough Theatre. In 2023, she featured in the second season of the BBC One comedy series The Cleaner. In early 2025, she will appear alongside Colin Firth in the historical drama Lockerbie: A Search for Truth. Carlton will also portray Belle Downer in Steven Knight's A Thousand Blows.
