Jeffrey Thomas is a Welsh-born New Zealand actor and writer who transitioned to full-time acting after initially working as a lecturer. He trained as a quantity surveyor before pursuing higher education, earning degrees in English Literature and Celtic Studies from Liverpool University, followed by a Master's from Oxford University. Thomas has notable works including Adrift (2018). He began his acting career after moving to New Zealand in 1976, where he also taught poetry at Victoria University.
