Jeffrey DeMunn is an American actor who collaborated with director Frank Darabont in all four of his films, including The Shawshank Redemption (1994) and The Green Mile (1999). With a rich background in theater, film, and television, DeMunn has appeared in adaptations of Stephen King's works, such as The Mist and the miniseries Storm of the Century. His extensive television credits include appearances in Kojak and Law & Order. In 1995, he received a CableACE Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie or Miniseries for his performance in Citizen X.
