Jeannetta Arnette is an American actress who gained recognition for her role as Miss Meara on the television series Head of the Class (1986-1991). She trained at the North Carolina School of the Arts and furthered her acting education in England before moving to Los Angeles. Arnette has appeared in notable films such as Boys Don't Cry (1999) as Lana's mother, Pay It Forward (2000) as a nurse, and Pineapple Express (2008) as Sandra Danby. Her extensive television work includes guest roles in series like Criminal Minds, ER, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, where she portrayed Doctor Karen Loews. Arnette appeared in Sniper 3 (2004).
