Jean Dujardin is a French actor who gained international recognition for his portrayal of George Valentin in the 2011 silent film The Artist. He began his career in stand-up comedy and rose to fame through the TV series Un gars, une fille, alongside Alexandra Lamy. Dujardin has appeared in notable films such as Brice de Nice, OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies, and its sequel OSS 117: Lost in Rio, as well as 99 Francs. His performance in The Artist earned him several prestigious awards, including the Academy Award for Best Actor, making him the first French actor to achieve this honor.
