Jay Underwood is an American actor who portrayed Eric Gibb in The Boy Who Could Fly (1986). He began his acting career as a teenager in the mid-1980s and appeared as Chip Carson in Not Quite Human (1989), Grover Dunn in The Invisible Kid (1986), and Bug in Uncle Buck (1989). Underwood played Sonny Bono in The Sonny and Cher Story (2000) and appeared as Ernest Hemingway in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles (1992-1993). His work includes a role in The Fantastic 4: First Steps (2025) and Desert Bloom (1986). He portrayed the Human Torch in the unreleased 1994 film Fantastic Four.
