Jay Simpson is an English actor who portrayed Ian 'Brookie' Brooke in the television series Foyle's War. His film credits include The Firm (1989) and Terminal (2018), while his television appearances span a wide range of series such as Chernobyl, Frontier, and Black Mirror. In addition to his acting work, Simpson provided the voice for 'The Tree of Temptation' in Big Brother and voiced the character Flea in the English version of Free Jimmy (2008). He has also performed on stage, appearing in Patrick Marber's Dealer's Choice in the West End. In 2011, he played George Redman in The Suspicions of Mr Whicher for ITV.
