Jay Duplass is an American filmmaker, actor, and author who co-created the HBO comedy-drama Togetherness (2015–2016). He gained recognition for his work in films such as The Puffy Chair (2005), Cyrus (2010), and Jeff, Who Lives at Home (2011), all produced with his brother, Mark Duplass. Duplass also starred in the Amazon Video series Transparent (2014–2019) and was involved in the HBO anthology series Room 104 (2017–2020). His recent projects include The Oath (2018) and The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial (2023).
