Jason Winer is an American director who directed the award-winning series Modern Family. He began his career in front of the camera, appearing in commercials for brands such as Budweiser and Nike, and performing stand-up on HBO. Winer transitioned to directing with the 2005 film The Adventures of Big Handsome Guy and His Little Friend, followed by episodes of shows like Kath & Kim and Samantha Who?. He also directed the 2011 film Arthur, marking his debut in feature films. Winer received the DGA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Directing Comedy Series for his work on Modern Family.
