Jason Lee is an American actor known for his performance as Earl Hickey in the NBC series My Name Is Earl. He has appeared in several notable films, including Almost Famous (2000), Vanilla Sky (2001), and Enemy of the State (1998). Lee voiced Syndrome in Pixar's The Incredibles and Dave Seville in the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise. His collaborations with director Kevin Smith include Mallrats and Chasing Amy, which earned him an Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male. Lee co-founded Stereo Skateboards in 1992.
