Jared Martin was an American actor known for his portrayal of Steven "Dusty" Farlow in the television series Dallas, which aired in 1978. He also appeared in notable roles in science fiction series such as The Fantastic Journey and War of the Worlds. Martin began his acting career at a young age, participating in a children's theater group, and later graduated from Columbia University. He worked briefly as a copy boy and book reviewer at The New York Times before fully committing to acting. His role in War of the Worlds (1988) is part of his diverse filmography.
