Jared Harris is a British actor who won the British Academy Television Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Valery Legasov in the HBO miniseries Chernobyl (2019). He made his film debut in 1989 with a minor role in The Rachel Papers and has since appeared in various films, including The Last of the Mohicans (1992), Natural Born Killers (1994), and Allied (2016). Harris gained recognition for his recurring role as Lane Pryce in the television series Mad Men (2007), for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award. His film credits also include Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011) and Morbius (2022). Harris has an extensive background in theater, having directed and performed in numerous stage productions.
