Jannik Schümann is a German actor who made his film debut in Barbara (2012) as Mario. He began his television career in 2003 with The Rescue Pilots and gained wider recognition in 2011 for his role as Henry in the TV movie Homevideo. Schümann portrayed Nicholas in the film adaptation of Center of My World (2016) and has appeared in projects such as My Son Helen (2015) and Charité at War (2019). He has also played Nikolaus Tanz in The Diplomat since 2016 and appeared in Monster Hunter (2020). Schümann studied English Studies and Media Studies at Humboldt University of Berlin, focusing on queer-coding in Disney films.
