Janina Gavankar is an American actress and musician who trained as a pianist, vocalist, and orchestral percussionist. She majored in Theatre Performance at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Gavankar's notable roles include a police officer in The Gates, Ms. Dewey in a Microsoft search engine campaign, and the shapeshifter Luna Garza in HBO's True Blood. She portrayed McKenna Hall in The CW's Arrow and Meredith Bose in NBC's The Mysteries of Laura. Gavankar also played Diana Thomas in Fox's Sleepy Hollow. She appears in Borderlands (2024).
