Janelle Monáe is an American singer, songwriter, and actress who made her live-action film debut in 'Moonlight' (2016). She gained further recognition for her role in 'Hidden Figures' (2016), alongside Taraji P. Henson and Octavia Spencer. Monáe has also appeared in 'Harriet' (2019) and lent her voice to 'Lady and the Tramp' (2019). In addition to her acting career, she has released several albums, including 'The ArchAndroid' (2010), which marked her entry into the music industry. Monáe has received eight Grammy Award nominations for her musical contributions.
