Janelle Hutchison is an award-winning screenwriter and actress who played Mme. Thenardier in the original Canadian production of Les Miserables. With over 35 years of experience in the arts, she has worked as an Associate Casting Director at the Canadian Film Centre and as a Senior Casting Associate at Stephanie Gorin Casting. Hutchison has a rich theatre background, performing in productions such as White Christmas, Company, Gypsy, and Anne of Green Gables. In film, she appeared in Saw VI (2009) and has worked across various television networks including ABC and CBC. Hutchison has conducted numerous seminars and private coaching sessions in musical theatre audition techniques.
