Jane Leeves is an English actress who played Daphne Moon in the sitcom Frasier (1993–2004). She made her screen debut in the Benny Hill Show (1983) and later appeared in Murphy Brown. Leeves earned nominations for both an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award during the run of Frasier. She also appeared in Music of the Heart (1999), Miracle on 34th Street (1994), and The Event (2003). After a period in television production, she returned to acting in 2010 as Joy in Hot in Cleveland.
