Janardhanan is a Malayalam film actor who made his debut in Veettu Mrugam (1969). Initially starting his career as a villain in the 1970s, he later became a prominent comedian, with a significant turning point in his career marked by his performance in Oru CBI Diary Kurippu (1988). His comedic talent became widely recognized after the release of Meleparambil Aanveedu (1993), leading to a typecasting as a comedian. Throughout his career, he has portrayed a variety of characters, including stereotypical Hindu, Muslim, and Christian roles, as well as unique portrayals of a Sikh and a Jewish character. Janardhanan appeared in films such as Theevram (2012) and Big Brother (2020).
