James Urbaniak is an American actor who won an Obie for his performance in Richard Foreman's avant-garde play The Universe. He appeared in Henry Fool (1997) and American Splendor (2003), where he portrayed the illustrator R. Crumb. Urbaniak was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for his work in Thom Pain (based on nothing) and voices Dr. Thaddeus Venture in the animated series The Venture Bros. He appeared in the Budweiser 'Whassup?' commercials and played a moderator in the Funny or Die short 'Human Centipede Anonymous'. Urbaniak features in the film Invitation to a Murder (2023).
