James Olson is an American actor who made his film debut in The Sharkfighters (1956). He had a significant stage career, with Broadway credits including J.B. (1958) and The Three Sisters (1964). Olson starred alongside Joanne Woodward in the Academy Award-nominated film Rachel, Rachel (1968). His television work includes portraying Mickey Mantle in The Life of Mickey Mantle and guest appearances on numerous series such as Murder, She Wrote and Hawaii Five-O. He also appeared in the action film Commando (1985). Olson's career spanned several decades until his retirement in 1990.
