James Nesbitt is a Northern Irish actor who made his feature film debut as Fintan O'Donnell in Hear My Song (1991). He gained prominence with his role as Adam Williams in the television series Cold Feet (1998–2003), which earned him several awards including a British Comedy Award. Nesbitt's film career includes notable performances as 'Pig' Finn in Waking Ned (1998) and as Jimmy Hands in Lucky Break (2001). He portrayed Ivan Cooper in the impactful television film Bloody Sunday (2002), which marked a significant turning point in his career. His role in Jekyll (2007) garnered him a Golden Globe nomination. Nesbitt has also appeared in The Way (2011) and Coriolanus (2011).
