James Hiroyuki Liao is a graduate of the Juilliard School's Drama Division, where he completed his studies in 2004. He has appeared in Battle: Los Angeles (2011) and played Song Liling in the Arena Stage production of M. Butterfly. Additionally, he contributed his voice and motion-capture performance as Kenji in the video game Ghost of Tsushima (2020).
