James D'Arcy is an English actor who co-starred in Christopher Nolan's war film Dunkirk (2017). He played Edwin Jarvis, Howard Stark's butler, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Agent Carter and the film Avengers: Endgame (2019). D'Arcy portrayed murder suspect Lee Ashworth in the ITV series Broadchurch. His film credits include The Snowman (2017) and Warning (2021), as well as Oppenheimer (2023). In addition to acting, he wrote and directed the film Made in Italy (2020).
