James Belfer is the Founder and CEO of Cartuna, a production company based in Brooklyn that specializes in animation and alt-comedy. His filmography includes notable works such as Strawberry Mansion (2021), Compliance (2012), and Prince Avalanche (2013), the latter of which won a Silver Bear at Berlinale. Belfer was involved with the Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner Like Crazy and the Sundance Special Jury Prize recipient Nuts! (2016).
