James Avery is an American actor who portrayed Philip Banks in the television sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He provided the voice for several animated characters, including Shredder in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series and War Machine in Iron Man. Avery also appeared in That '70s Show as Michael Kelso's commanding officer. In addition to his television roles, he lent his voice to the character of Junkyard Dog in Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling. His film credits include The Prince of Egypt (1998).
