Jaden Smith is an American actor and rapper who made his film debut alongside his father in The Pursuit of Happyness (2006). He co-starred with Keanu Reeves in the remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008) and appeared with Jackie Chan in The Karate Kid (2010). After a break from acting, he returned in 2016 with a lead role in the Netflix series The Get Down. As a musician, Smith gained recognition with his guest performance on Justin Bieber's single "Never Say Never" and later released his debut album, Syre (2017), which reached number 24 on the Billboard 200. He has received multiple accolades, including a Teen Choice Award and two NAACP Image Awards.
