Jack O'Connell is an English actor who gained fame for portraying James Cook in the British series Skins (2009–2010, 2013). He has appeared in notable films such as This Is England (2006), Eden Lake (2008), and Unbroken (2014), where he played war hero Louis Zamperini. His performance in Starred Up (2013) earned him critical acclaim, and he received a BAFTA Rising Star Award.
