Jack Lord is an American actor who was the first to portray Felix Leiter in the inaugural James Bond film, Dr. No (1962). He gained prominence for his role as Steve McGarrett on the television series Hawaii Five-O, which aired from 1968 to 1980. Lord's film career includes notable works such as Man of the West (1958) and he also had a presence on Broadway.
