Ja Rule is an American rapper, singer, and actor who debuted in 1999 with the album Venni Vetti Vecci. He gained significant recognition in the early 2000s with multiple hits on the US Billboard Hot 100, including "Always on Time" featuring Ashanti and "I'm Real (Murder Remix)" with Jennifer Lopez. In addition to his music career, he appeared in the film The Fast and the Furious (2001). Ja Rule was associated with The Inc. Records, previously known as Murder Inc., under the leadership of Irv Gotti.
