J.A. Preston is an American actor who portrayed Ozzie Cleveland on the television series Hill Street Blues, which aired from 1981 to 1987. He has appeared in notable roles such as Leo Daltry in Dallas and Richard Matthews in Santa Barbara. In the film A Few Good Men (1992), he played the role of court-martial judge Col. J.A. Randolph, USMC. Additionally, Preston had a significant part as a USAF Major General in Air Force One (1997) and was a series regular in the short-lived sitcom All's Fair (1976-77). He also featured as Col. Thomas Milo in an episode of The A-Team.
