J-hope is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and dancer who released his first solo mixtape, Hope World, in 2018. As a member of BTS, he was the first from the group to enter the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist with his single "Chicken Noodle Soup" in 2019. His debut studio album, Jack in the Box, was released in 2022, followed by the collaboration single "On the Street" with J. Cole in 2023. In 2024, he presented a six-part docuseries titled Hope on the Street, alongside the special album Hope on the Street Vol.1. J-hope received the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit in 2018.
