Italia Ricci is a Canadian-American actress who played April Carver in the ABC Family series Chasing Life (2014–2015). She has also portrayed Emily Rhodes in the Netflix political drama Designated Survivor and starred as Dr. Sydney Burke in the Netflix original series The Imperfects. Additionally, Ricci appeared in Hallmark films such as Rome in Love, Love in Winterland, and Breakup Boot Camp. She is featured in the film The Remaining (2014).
