Isaiah Washington is an American actor who gained recognition for his role as Dr. Preston Burke in the television series Grey's Anatomy. He began his career working with director Spike Lee on several films, including Crooklyn (1994) and Clockers (1995). Washington's film credits also include Love Jones (1997), Romeo Must Die (2000), and Ghost Ship (2002). He portrayed Thelonious Jaha in the science fiction series The 100 from 2014 to 2018. In addition to acting, Washington hosted a travel cooking show on Fox Nation in 2020. He appeared in Wild Things 2 (2004) and God's Not Dead: In God We Trust (2024).
