Imogen Stubbs is an English actress who played Lucy Steele in Sense and Sensibility (1995). She began her acting career with a leading role in Privileged (1982) and gained recognition for her stage performances, particularly as Desdemona in Othello with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Stubbs also starred in A Summer Story (1988) and portrayed Ursula Brangwen in the BBC adaptation of The Rainbow (1988). The play We Happy Few premiered in 2004 at the Gielgud Theatre. Stubbs has worked as a contributing editor and writer for Reader's Digest since 2008.
