Idina Menzel is an American actress, singer, and songwriter who gained fame for her role as Elphaba in the Broadway musical Wicked. She made her Broadway debut in 1996 with Rent, earning a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. Menzel has voiced the character Elsa in Disney's Frozen franchise, with the song "Let It Go" achieving significant chart success.
