Ian Abercrombie was an English actor who portrayed Alfred Pennyworth in Birds of Prey (2002). He also appeared as Justin Pitt, Elaine Benes' boss, in the sixth season of Seinfeld (1994-1995) and played a meticulous butler in Desperate Housewives (2004-2012). Abercrombie's work extended to voice acting as well, contributing to projects such as the animated series The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa (1995-1999).
