Hunter Schafer is an American actress who portrayed Jules Vaughn in the HBO series Euphoria (2019–2026). She gained recognition for her activism as a transgender rights advocate, notably participating in a lawsuit against North Carolina's bathroom bill in 2016. Schafer began her career as a fashion model in 2017 before transitioning to acting. In addition to Euphoria, she has appeared in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023) and Cuckoo (2024), and worked on the English dub of the film Belle (2021). Schafer has also worked as a brand ambassador for Shiseido Makeup and Prada. Her role in Euphoria earned her critical acclaim and a co-writing credit for one of its episodes.
