Hugh Laurie is an English actor who portrayed the title character in the Fox medical drama series House (2004–2012). He has received multiple accolades, including two Golden Globe Awards for his performance in House, and was recognized in the 2011 Guinness World Records as the most watched leading man on television. Laurie's extensive filmography includes roles in Sense and Sensibility (1995), The Night Manager (2016), and The Personal History of David Copperfield (2019).
