Hugh Jackman is an Australian actor who played Wolverine in the X-Men film series, starting with X-Men in 2000 and continuing through to Deadpool & Wolverine in 2024. He appeared in the romantic comedy Kate & Leopold (2001), the musical Les Misérables (2012), and the thriller Prisoners (2013). Jackman has received numerous accolades, including a Primetime Emmy Award and a Grammy Award, along with nominations for an Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award. He won a Tony Award for his role in The Boy from Oz (2004). Jackman was appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia in 2019.
