Hugh Dancy is an English actor who gained recognition for his portrayal of the title character in the television film adaptation of David Copperfield (2000). He has appeared in notable films such as Kurt Schmid in Black Hawk Down (2001), Prince Charmont in Ella Enchanted (2004), and Adam Raki in Adam (2009). Dancy's television credits include his role as Will Graham in the NBC series Hannibal (2013–2015) and Cal Roberts in The Path (2016–2018). He received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for his performance as Robert Devereux, 2nd Earl of Essex, in the miniseries Elizabeth I (2005). Dancy currently plays Senior Assistant District Attorney Nolan Price in the NBC revival of Law & Order (2022–present).
