Himesh Patel is a British actor who began his career as Tamwar Masood in the BBC soap opera EastEnders (2007–2016). He gained further recognition with roles in the films Yesterday (2019) and Tenet (2020), as well as in the HBO miniseries Station Eleven, where he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie.
