Hilmir Snær Guðnason is an Icelandic actor who was named one of European films' 'Shooting Stars' in 2000. He graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 1994 and has appeared in both film and theater. His notable film credits include '101 Reykjavík' (2000), 'The Sea' (2002), 'White Night Wedding' (2008), and 'Lamb' (2021). Hilmir has received the highest national Icelandic film and TV award, the 'EDDA', three times and has also been nominated three additional times. He is married to Bryndís Jónsdóttir and has two daughters born in 1995 and 2009.
