Helena Zengel is a German actress who starred as Johanna Leonberger in News of the World (2020). She gained significant recognition for her role in System Crasher (2019), which won multiple international awards. Following this success, Zengel was cast in the American Western film directed by Paul Greengrass, where she portrayed a German orphan raised by the Kiowa, delivering much of her dialogue in the Kiowa language. In addition to her acting, she provided her own voice for the film's dubbing in several languages, including Italian and French. Zengel received nominations for both a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance in this film.
