Helena Bonham Carter is an English actress who gained prominence for her role as Lucy Honeychurch in A Room with a View (1985). She has appeared in a variety of films, including The King's Speech (2010), for which she won a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Bonham Carter often portrays quirky characters, such as Bellatrix Lestrange in the Harry Potter series (2007–2011) and Enola Holmes in Enola Holmes (2020) and its sequel. Her collaborations with director Tim Burton include Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) and Alice in Wonderland (2010). She received an International Emmy Award for her performance as Enid Blyton in the biographical film Enid (2009).
