Heathcote Williams was an English poet and actor who appeared in Basic Instinct 2 (2006). He wrote several notable works, including Autogeddon and Whale Nation, the latter being a significant argument for the global ban on whaling. His film credits include roles in Derek Jarman's The Tempest (1979) and Orlando (1992), along with a guest appearance in the popular series Friends. He collaborated with Marianne Faithfull on songwriting. Williams's final published work, American Porn, critiqued the American political landscape and was released on the day of Donald Trump's inauguration.
